Marianna Kosharovsky, Founder & Executive Director
Marianna Kosharovsky, JD brings professional and leadership experience across issues of human rights, law and international collaboration in both US and Eastern Europe/Russia. She specializes in driving partnerships to advance efficiency in anti-trafficking efforts through technological tools. Prior to ALIGHT, Ms. Kosharovsky represented victims of labor exploitation and human trafficking at Sanctuary for Families, as well as international corporate clients at Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy, in New York. She has also worked on human rights development and bridging private sector-nonprofit collaboration in Eastern Europe/Russia at PILnet: Global Network for Public Interest Law. Ms. Kosharovsky was a Visiting Professor at Pericles Center for International Legal Education. She is a contributing author to the ABA book Lawyers as Changemakers and serves on the International Peace Research Association Foundation's Board. Kristen Berg, Director of Outreach & Partnerships
Kristen Berg, JD oversees ALIGHT's outreach efforts to, and active engagement with, professionals in the anti-trafficking field as well as the general public. Prior to joining ALIGHT, Ms. Berg worked on anti-trafficking advocacy campaigns for four years at the international human rights organization Equality Now. While there, she worked closely with organizations around the world to reform anti-trafficking laws and collaborated with law firms on impact litigation. Additionally, Ms. Berg has also worked at human rights organizations in Uganda, Nepal and Tanzania, as well as with the United Nations in Cambodia. Jill Cruickshank, Director of Operations
Jill Cruickshank, MBA is responsible for planning and managing organizational resources, overseeing organizational finances and growing organizational capacity. Ms. Cruickshank’s professional experience includes designing ecosystems of technology and procedures to streamline workflow processes and bring about operational efficiency. Ms. Cruickshank has dedicated many years to working and volunteering for nonprofits. She now owns a business services firm, which helps small businesses and law practices with their bookkeeping and operations. Additionally, she served on the Board of Directors of the Colorado American Marketing Association for eight years. Ms. Cruickshank holds an MBA from the University of Colorado at Denver. Jill Rennert, Director of Development
Jill Rennert, JD is responsible for overseeing ALIGHT’s fundraising efforts. Prior to ALIGHT, Ms. Rennert’s experience includes work with several nonprofits in a variety of capacities, including as a lawyer, board member, and strategic development consultant. In addition to her nonprofit work, Ms. Rennert worked as a litigator at Skadden Arps Slate Maegher & Flom LLP on matters including corporate governance, securities litigation, and (pro bono) housing discrimination, and as a litigator at Legal Services for the Elderly in Queens. Malia K. Du Mont, Board Chair
Malia K. Du Mont, MPP is Chief of Staff at Bard College, and Senior Advisor at Amur Finance Company. Previously, she was Co-President and Chief Operating Officer at Amur Equipment Finance, a nationally ranked Top Ten equipment finance company. She has spent most of her career in national security, serving in multiple positions in the Pentagon, including as Director for Strategy in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy. She specializes in East Asian security, but has also deployed to Afghanistan and served at NATO. She has also worked in homeland defense policy, focusing on humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, an on developing policy to respond to insider threats. Ms. Du Mont holds a Masters of Public Policy from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, and also studied Chinese diplomacy at the Johns Hopkins center in Nanjing, China.
Courtney Krause, Board Vice Chair
Courtney Krause, JD was raised in Colorado and is a fourth generation Colorado native. Ms. Krause has served as legislative counsel to Congressman Jared Polis (CO-02) in Washington, DC, where she drafted legislation and amendments that became law. In June 2015, she joined White & Jankowski, LLP as an associate attorney. She currently represents both public and private clients on a variety of water, natural resources, and administrative law matters. With over a decade of advocacy experience in natural resources realm, five of which as an attorney, Ms. Krause is thrilled to be applying her experience to aid ALIGHT’s work at the intersection of law, innovative technology, and human trafficking to increase access to legal assistance. Ms. Krause earned her law degree from the University of Colorado Boulder.
Adriana Marrey Sosa, Board Secretary
Adriana Marrey Sosa, JD, MBA has been an international transactions attorney for over 15 years, having worked for Information Technology Fortune 500 Companies in Brazil and in the US. Ms. Sosa started her career as a Brazilian attorney, licensed to practice with the São Paulo Bar, and was transferred to Colorado, USA in June 2008. She currently serves as Chief Counsel for the Americas Region of CSG Systems International Inc. Ms. Sosa holds a Lato Sensu Post-Graduate degree in Contract Law from the Law School of the Catholic University of São Paulo, Brazil, and an MBA with Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo, Brazil.
Lucy Stribley, Board Treasurer
Lucy Stribley, MBA was most recently Senior Vice President/Partner with Booz Allen and Hamilton, a global strategy and technology consulting firm. For over 25 years, Ms. Stribley delivered strategy and technology services and solutions to commercial, government and not-for-profit organizations. She has a track record of turning around operations, scaling businesses, diversifying customer bases, developing new services, and launching new business lines by working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Ms. Stribley earned her business degree. from University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business.
Jeffrey Michalczak, Board Member
Mr. Michalczak, JD, MDiv honed his legal expertise over eight years as an attorney with Milbank Tweed in New York and Amarchand Mangaldas in Mumbai, India. In 2013 Mr. Michalczak launched his private law practice, through which he has extensive experience representing nonprofit organizations and tech startups. He volunteers as a mediator at the New York Peace Institute, serves on the Board of Directors of The Mindbody Foundation, and is Co-Founder of Derring-Do Productions. Melinda Delmonico is CEO of Gibson Arnold & Associates, Inc. and provides the organization with strategic vision and leadership in serving the national legal community. Gibson Arnold has been recognized as a top woman-owned business nationwide. For nearly two decades Ms. Delmonico has developed relationships with hiring managers, partners, and other decision-makers in the legal community, gaining a first-hand understanding of the industries and practice areas important to her clients. She has served on the Board of the Jeffco Schools Foundation. Ms. Delmonico holds a bachelor’s degree in speech communication, with a minor in journalism, from Texas A&M University.

Bob Connelly, Strategic Advisor
Bob Connelly, JD advises on organizational growth and impact strategies. He is a retired attorney and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of CereScan Corp. Mr. Connelly brings over 30 years of experience in corporate executive and legal practice positions in the US and abroad, including as Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at US WEST and Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Qwest Communications. Additionally, he has served on the Board of Directors and was Treasurer of the American Civil Liberties Union of Colorado (ACLU-CO) for six years and in 2014 received the Radetsky Award for his contributions to that organization. Over the years, he has actively contributed to social and economic justice efforts by lending his expertise to a variety of nonprofit and grassroots organizations in Denver and Atlanta. Mr. Connelly graduated with a law degree from Columbia University School of Law.

Simon Cohen advises ALIGHT on technology strategy. Mr. Cohen has been working with software and software engineers for the past eighteen years. He has managed in companies from three person startups to eighty thousand person multinationals. He has worked at Getco LLC, UBS, Goldman Sachs and Tolerate. Mr. Cohen is currently a Chapter Lead at Spotify NYC.
