Dear Friend,

What have we learned and accomplished together?

It’s time to celebrate – your support has helped human trafficking survivors on over 100 legal matters! From the first request to resolve identity theft, to the 100th request to take down revenge porn, together we are making a tangible, critical shift in survivor’s lives. Since the early days in 2014, ALIGHT has been building an ecosystem of help from the ground up to prove that it is possible to make a difference on the big, overwhelming and complex problem of human trafficking.

With contributions of expertise from our many attorneys across different practices and firms, power is finally on the side of those who have been ignored, forgotten and abused for far too long.

Join us on November 13th to celebrate at our Community Happy Hour and our many other upcoming events! Bring a friend. Invite a coworker. Come out to meet other changemakers in the community.

Now we know, survivors of human trafficking have a real chance to rebuild their lives. The ALIGHT mobilized legal network, the only one of its kind, delivers justice. You have made this change possible.

In Full Light,
The ALIGHT Team

ALIGHT exists to unlock a fresh start for survivors. We ENVISION a world where every human trafficking survivor connects to a mobilized legal network to rebuild and thrive.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

ALIGHT was honored to co-present with Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMIAN) on “Immigration, Detention Centers & Human Trafficking,” an event hosted by the University of Denver’s Human Trafficking Center and the Center on Human Rights Education. We greatly enjoyed the robust discussion on the range of vulnerabilities that drive human trafficking and how current immigration policies contribute to additional challenges for immigrant communities.
